Disease chronic gastritis is known to many people, someone was sick himself, someone was ill with friends, it is hardly worth mentioning that successful treatment depends on the implementation of the necessary recommendations. First of all, they concern the issue of diet and nutrition. Only drug intervention along with compliance with the diet can give positive results. In some cases, the doctor prescribes specifically what the patient can eat, as gastritis can be different depending on the acidity, and sometimes it is enough to follow the general rules of healthy eating. It is necessary to understand that it is impossible to get rid of it forever, however, you can do everything to make the illness as less as possible in the future.

Remission or exacerbation - differences of recommendations

There are two stages of the disease - remission and exacerbation. In the first case, the illness does not greatly disturb the person, pain, nausea, heartburn and other symptoms characteristic of this disease disappear, in the second case, they become worse, the patient begins to feel worse. Most often there are problems in the summer periods, namely: during holidays and trips to dachas, when people have no time to cook and watch what they ate. In addition, it is in the summer that many fruits and vegetables are sold that are difficult to pass by, but for people suffering from chronic gastritis, their consumption in large quantities leads to negative consequences. At the stage of exacerbation, it is recommended to eat more often and in small portions up to 6 times a day, in the stage of remission - you can make indulgences and reduce the number of meals up to 4-5 times.

If the patient suffers from chronic gastritis with high acidity, it is recommended to exclude products that provoke the production of gastric secretion:

  • fatty broths on meat and fish;
  • pickled, salted and pickled vegetables;
  • dishes from mushrooms;
  • coffee, tea, carbonated drinks;
  • radish, sorrel, turnip, white cabbage;
  • baking;

For chronic gastritis with reduced secrecy it is recommended to exclude:

  • spices and spices;
  • smoked and spicy products;
  • long digestible products - rice, buns, rye bread.

With chronic gastritis, recommendations, in both cases, will be the same. The food should be high-grade, contain vitamins, minerals and other useful substances. Food should contain a large number of plant and animal proteins. It is best to eat vegetables, scrambled eggs, boiled fish and meat, rusks from white bread, cottage cheese with a small percentage of fat, vinaigrette. Food should contain a small amount of carbohydrates.

It should be understood that a diet in such cases should not be short-lived, it should rather become a way of life. This is the only way to live for many years in the remission phase.
