Suprax is an antibacterial agent available in various forms. This is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic of the 3rd generation. Oppresses the synthesis of the cell membrane, is resistant to the action of lactamases, which are produced by most bacteria.
Composition, form, package
Capsules with a yellow lid and a former casing of 200 mg each contain a mixture of granules and powder. Capsules of 400 mg each have a purple cap and a white body. The last one shows the code H808.
Excipients are: silicon dioxide, magnesium, azorubin and carboxymethylcellulose. The shell is made of titanium dioxide, dyes and gelatin. In one carton pack contains 6 capsules placed in a cellular contour package.
Granules for the preparation of the suspension have 100 mg of active substance. Excipients are sodium benzonate, sucrose, flavor, yellow resin. Granules are produced for the preparation of a suspension in bottles with a dark glass of 60 ml.
Includes dosage spoon. After dilution, the suspension is almost white with a sweet strawberry taste. In all forms the principal antibacterial agent is cefixime.

Suprax is prescribed for diseases caused by bacterial infection. It can effectively cure:

Contraindications

Mechanism of action
