Pathogenic changes as a result of the ablation of the abdominal organs, are commonly referred to as visceroptosis. The synonym of this term is splanchnoptosis, which also means a disease that develops with excessive mobility and the descent of one or more internal divisions. The process of the development of the disease can occur in a certain sequence, but also simultaneously in all internal organs. Visceryptosis is caused by the weakening of the muscles and ligaments that hold the internal organs in a normal state. Such weakness of muscles and ligamentous apparatus can be congenital, acquired and can develop with constitutional asthenia.
The decrease in the tone of the muscles surrounding the abdominal cavity and pelvic floor occurs for various reasons. With a significant weight loss, work that requires considerable physical effort, training in power sports, in women who repeatedly gave birth, there may be a weakening of the muscles. At the same time, the organ support function is broken, and they fall, creating a tug of the ligaments holding them. The constitutional splanchnoptosis develops in tall men and women with weak musculature and asthenic physique. Disturbances in the process of forming internal organs during intrauterine development of the fetus also leads to splanchnoptosis.
Symptoms of ablation of the abdominal organs
Manifestations of the disease depend on which organ is lowered. Symptoms of visceroptosis are:
- the accumulation of gases in the stomach;
- pain in right iliac region of blunt character;
- partial or complete obstruction of the intestine with an emerging turn.
Collapsing the colon leads to its deformation and, as a consequence, a prolonged retention of intestinal contents. It manifests itself in the form of persistent constipation and can lead to complete intestinal obstruction. A common symptom of splanchnoptosis is pain in the pelvic area and abdominal cavity. Pain can be accompanied by nausea, severe dizziness, palpitation and severe fatigue. Women may experience pain during menstruation, and men may have pain when urinating.
In general, the symptomatology is not expressed and the task of diagnosis is the exclusion of other diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. An accurate diagnosis can be established after carrying out diagnostic tests. The choice of the diagnostic technique depends on where the pathology appeared in the body. Diagnosis of calotopia( colitis of the large intestine) is carried out on the basis of the analysis of feces and blood, the results of ultrasound examination.
To the development of visceroptosis result:
- curvature of the spine;
- osteochondrosis;
- hormonal failure;
- very fast delivery;
- obesity.
In addition, susceptibility to stress effects also affects the development of visceroptysis. The propensity of an asthenic to visceroptosis is explained by the peculiarities of its anatomical structure. Viscero-type 2 degree can be associated with the formation of scars and adhesions in the abdominal cavity or in space behind the peritoneum.
Treatment of visceroptosis
Treatment of visceroptosis depends on many factors, and first of all on how far the development of the disease has gone, which department is affected and how the general condition of the patient is characterized. Among the main methods of therapy for visceroptosis can be identified:
- Correction with a bandage that supports the abdominal wall, reducing the force of pressure, normalizing it. In this case, the mobility of the internal organs is limited.
- Dietary food.
- Therapeutic physical training.
- Surgical intervention.
The operation is performed if there is no effect with conservative therapy or acute course of the disease, which causes intestinal obstruction, circulatory disorder in the abdominal cavity. Selection of the bandage is carried out by a physician taking into account the individual features of the anatomical structure of the organism and the clinical manifestations of the disease. However, the bandage can be considered as a supplement to the main course of therapy for visceroptosis. Dyspepsia and motor disorders, manifested with splanchnoptosis, can be treated with folk remedies.
LFK for plaunchoptosis
The main objective of therapeutic physical culture in visceroptosis is to strengthen the muscles of the internal organs with the improvement of the functional state of the digestive departments. At the same time, the general physical condition of a person and the psycho-emotional background are strengthened. In case of splenopathosis, the complex of exercises should correspond to the following principles:
- Simple exercises are performed by the lower extremities and lifting of the lower part of the trunk. Strictly forbidden exercises associated with straining and the transition to a sitting position directly from the recumbent.
- Approaches are performed on the board with a slightly raised( 10-12 cm) lower end.
- Exercises are performed in a supine position( on the back, abdomen, side) and standing on all fours for 1.5-2 months, then you can include options for correcting the posture while standing, but at the same time excluding the inclines forward.
- The course of treatment continues for six months, changing individual complexes after two months of training.
- Exclude slopes forward, as well as jumping, jumping, running.
- Self-massage of abdomen, column massage and massage of the lumbosacral area to activate motility of the gastrointestinal tract.
An approximate complex of exercise therapy for splanchnoptosis can be selected after consultation with a physician and taking into account the general physical condition. In addition to exercise therapy for visceroptosis, morning hygienic gymnastics, pedestrian or ski walks in slow mode, swimming and the like are recommended. For a more detailed study and the possibility of practical application, the above set of exercises for gymnastics for visceroptosis in pictures. All movements are performed at a slow or medium pace with breaks for rest.
