- Metamizole sodium, better known as analgin, which is an anesthetic;
- Pitofenone hydrochloride, affecting the muscle fiber and relaxing smooth muscle;
- Fenpiperinia bromide, affecting smooth muscle.
Due to the fact that these substances are combined, their action is strengthened, namely the analgesic and antipyretic effect.
3 Indications for admission
Spasgan is used for spasms of smooth muscles, and for the relief of pain syndromes. It is mainly used for colic, colitis, and pelvic organs. Spazgan is also used for headaches. He well anesthetizes with myalgia, arthralgia and neuralgia. Spasmodic is taken as an adjuvant, for pain relief after surgical interventions or painful diagnostic procedures.
In order to get rid of the headache it will be enough to take one tablet of the drug. With severe pain, the dose can be increased to two tablets. The tablet begins to act twenty to forty minutes after it was taken. Maximum per day can take no more than six tablets. They do not need to be chewed. They drink Spazgan with a little water.
4 Overdose and helpful recommendations
In overdose, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness and lowering of blood pressure are possible. Cramps and severe impairment of renal and hepatic function may also occur. In case of an overdosage, you must wash your stomach, take activated charcoal and seek medical help.
With severe pain in the abdomen, it is unacceptable to take the drug, as well as other pain medications, until the cause and diagnosis are clarified. After taking the drug, it is possible to change the color of urine, it can turn red, which does not affect the clinical picture.
Those who drive vehicles or complex mechanisms that require increased attention should take Spazgan with caution, as it can disrupt attention and speed of response.
5 Contraindications
