Microbial flora has sufficient sensitivity to any type of adverse effect on the body. Due to inadequate nutrition, various serious diseases, the use of antibiotics and other medications, surgical interventions may disrupt the normal state of the microbial composition of the intestine. As a result, the multiplication of pathogens begins, and the number of beneficial microorganisms begins to decrease. This will be called exacerbation of dysbiosis. Up to a certain point, the body itself can successfully resist the exacerbation, however, at some time, because of the additional factor, for example, taking antibiotics in acute infectious disease or due to severe stress, protection is destroyed and symptoms of severe dysbiosis appear.
Symptoms of acute intestinal dysbacteriosis include:
- Partial or total lack of appetite.
- Appearance of nausea, vomiting, unpleasant aftertaste in the mouth.
- Bloating, severe gas leak.
- Stool disorders: constipation or diarrhea. Perhaps their alternation.
- Moderate pain in the abdomen.
- Hypovitaminosis - dryness of the skin, cracks in the corners of the mouth.
- Itching and rashes on the skin.
As you can see, even the strongest dysbacteriosis does not have sudden manifestations. Such a condition can last for long months and years. Exacerbation does not occur often, and in its course can resemble an intestinal infection: the temperature rises, often there is a loose stool, painful sensations in the abdomen. After the exacerbation has been cured, the severe dysbacteriosis will revert to a chronic form.
It should be noted that cases of the course of the strongest dysbiosis should be controlled by a specialist. With an exacerbation of mild severity, you can cope on your own. But in other cases there is no, in particular, this applies to patients who have been prescribed antibacterial medications or who have had an intestinal disorder.
Treatment of severe dysbiosis
Therapy of the strongest dysbacteriosis consists of prescribing agents from the pre- and probiotic group, as well as diets.
Prebiotics for acute intestinal dysbacteriosis are substances that stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria. It is known that pathogenic microorganisms use protein substances as food and carbohydrates as useful substances. Thus, in severe cases of microflora disorders, saturation with carbohydrates should occur, which reach the intestine in undigested form.
For the same purpose of treatment of the strongest dysbacteriosis, vegetables and fruits are used. They contain a sufficient amount of fructosaccharides, almost not absorbed and supplying the normal state of microflora with nutrients.
Cellulose, which is also found in large quantities in vegetables and fruits, is not absorbed at all, due to which it reaches the intestinal cavity with the strongest dysbiosis in unchanged form. In addition to supplying useful microorganisms, it affects the binding and removal of harmful substances from the body in severe cases of microflora disorders, as well as stimulation of normal activity of the entire gastrointestinal tract.
Probiotics with the strongest dysbacteriosis are drugs that contain normal forms of natural bacteria. They are grown, based on the flora, which was taken from a healthy organism. They are not susceptible to a large number of modern antibiotic drugs in severe cases of dysbacteriosis. Thus, taking antibacterial drugs will not interfere with their effects. When ingested into the intestinal cavity, they begin active multiplication and gradually can displace pathogenic microbes from the body.
Regarding the diet with the strongest dysbacteriosis, its main components are products that contain a sufficient amount of dietary fiber and fructosaccharides. In a diet with the strongest dysbacteriosis includes porridge, fermented milk products, ground mashed potatoes, meat with a low fat content. It is worth to give up the smoked, pickled, spicy type of food, as well as from mushrooms, garlic and onions.
The strongest dysbacteriosis is mainly treated with bacteriophages, antibiotic and enterosorbent agents. Independent therapy with such medications should not be carried out, since it is possible only to aggravate the pathology, which later can lead to irreversible consequences.
