Pharmacological action

Groprinosin is an immunostimulating drug that has antiviral effects. The active ingredient is grousened - inosine pranobex - has a two-component composition.

The effect of the drug contributes to the rapid reduction of clinical manifestations of viral diseases, accelerates the process of reconvalescence( functional and anatomical restoration of affected organs), increases the body's resistance to the action of pathogenic microflora.

The use of groprinosin as an auxiliary medicine for the treatment of infectious lesions of the skin and mucous membranes, provoked by the herpes virus of the first and second type, promotes their faster healing than with traditional drugs. There is a more rare occurrence of new erosions, vesicles, edema and relapse of the disease.

Once ingested, groprinosin, which has excellent bioavailability, is absorbed very quickly( the patient's body absorbs more than 90% of the drug).The maximum active active substance content in the blood plasma is reached in sixty minutes after taking the drug.

Two hours later, inosine pranobex in the blood is no longer detected. The curative( antiviral and immunostimulating) effects of the medication begin to appear within thirty minutes after its application.

From the patient's body, gropinosin, remaining unchanged, is excreted through the kidneys. The low toxicity of this drug makes it possible to use it for the treatment of elderly patients and patients with heart failure.

Groprinosin is a drug that can be successfully used as an excellent preventive agent.

Its timely application contributes to a significant reduction in the incidence of infection, as well as a reduction in the severity and duration of the disease.

Instructions for Use Gropronosin: dosage

Gropronosin is recommended to be taken only after meals( no more than four times during the day), if possible, doing so at the same time and maintaining a strictly defined interval between doses.

Grinding tablets, chewing them( the preparation is completely tasteless) or dissolving in a small amount of liquid is allowed.

The duration of a therapeutic course may depend on the frequency of relapse, the form and stage of the disease. For each patient, the duration of treatment is calculated by the doctor individually.

It usually ranges from six days to two weeks. A second course of treatment is possible only after a break( from a week to ten days).

In some cases, this( with intermittent drug intake) treatment can last from one month to six months.

The dosage of grousening depends on the etiology of the disease and on the patient's age:

  • In the treatment of acute respiratory viral disease, adults are given two tablets 3-4 times a day. Children's dosage is determined from the calculation of 50 mg per kilogram of weight. Having broken it into four receptions, treat the child for five to seven days. To obtain a more pronounced effect, the drug should be taken when the first signs of the disease appear. Noticing the decrease in clinical manifestations, continue to take the medicine within the next two days.
  • Dosage for use in the treatment of varicella zoster, herpes zoster and herpes is similar to that described above, but the duration of treatment is at least ten days( until the symptomatology has completely disappeared).
  • For the treatment of genital herpes during the acute period of it is recommended to take two tablets three times a day( for six days).During the remission period( it can last for six months) a single dose is taken once a day.
  • In the treatment of viral hepatitis adults for two to four weeks are prescribed groprinosina( 2 tablets 4 times a day).After that, the number of tablets is reduced to two pieces per day, taking them within three to six months.

The method of application for HPV and cervical dysplasia

The main cause of cervical dysplasia( a process consisting in changing the structure of epithelial cells and belonging to the category of precancerous ones) is the infection of the female body with human papillomavirus. The greatest danger is represented by viruses of 16 and 18 types, considered oncogenic.

The longer they are present in the female body, the higher the probability of dysplasia.

The use of grosgnosinova for getting rid of HPV is carried out in accordance with the degree of cancer risk:

  • With a low cancer risk, the patient should take two tablets three times a day for two to four weeks.
  • With high oncological risk, treatment with gropinosin is carried out for five days( at the same dosage), then resort to cryotherapy or laser therapy. It is recommended to pass at least three courses of drug treatment( with monthly intervals).

  • Given the specificity of excretion of inosine from the patient's body, in the case of prolonged use of grousin, it is necessary to periodically monitor the concentration of uric acid in the serum and urine. If the level of its content is increased, this is the basis for taking medications that can reduce its concentration.
  • Equally strict control of the concentration of uric acid in blood serum is necessary in case of concomitant administration of grousins and medications that can increase this concentration. The same measures are necessary when it is used together with drugs that interfere with the normal functioning of the kidneys.
  • Patients suffering from kidney disease, groprinosin prescribe with great care, because its transformation occurs precisely in the structures of the liver.
  • There have never been any studies regarding the effect of the drug on the human body that drives the vehicle, but there are data indicating the possibility of increased drowsiness and light dizziness.

Drug Interactions

  • Immunostimulating effect of gropinosin can significantly weaken immunosuppressants.
  • The combined use of groprinosin and zidovudine can provoke an increase in the concentration of this drug in the blood plasma, while prolonging the time of its removal from the patient's body. To avoid such an undesirable effect, the dosage of zidovudine, which is applied simultaneously with grous-carrier, needs to be further adjusted downwards.
  • With regard to patients taking allopurinol and diuretics( torasemide, ethacrylic acid, furosemide) simultaneously, groprinosin must be used with extreme caution, as this may lead to an increase in the concentration of uric acid in their blood.

Reviews of doctors and patients

Maria:

During the comprehensive examination in my body, an oncogenic virus of HPV 16 and a large amount of condyloma was detected. For half a year I took the drug Groprinosin, appointed by the attending physician. Under the influence of this medication, old condylomas ceased to grow;the appearance of new ones is also not observed. As the doctor explained to me, course therapy had a preventive effect.

Anastasia:

After completing the medical examination, I found out that I own an E7 oncoprotein and bear two human papillomaviruses at once: HPV 16 and HPV 18. As the main medication, Groprinosin was prescribed( although the doctor who prescribed the drug called it not very effective).During the first days of treatment, I had complaints about a complete lack of appetite. After passing the course treatment, I was happy to learn that all the tests on HPV showed a negative result. My condition has improved significantly. Having felt the effect of groping on myself, I can say with certainty: this drug helped me to strengthen immunity and completely get rid of dangerous viruses.

Svetlana:

Accepted groprinosin as prescribed by an immunologist. The result is very satisfied. I would like to repeat the therapeutic course. It remains only to clarify the dosage of the drug: my doctor said that this time it will be slightly different.

Maria:

After receiving the results of blood tests( we handed them over for viruses), the pediatrician appointed my child a groin. We drank three courses at once( according to the scheme: ten days we take the drug, we rest for ten days).As a result, my baby, who did not get out of bronchitis( he had to treat with antibiotics), began to get sick much less often.

Cyril:

I used to treat groats and sore throats: the drug helped me to get up quickly. This time the attending physician appointed him to treat a viral infection. In the first two days, the medicine acted effectively: it brought down the temperature, helped to improve the condition. On the third day, the temperature rose again( it keeps at 37 degrees).Treatment continues.

  • from 500 to 660 rubles - for twenty tablets;
  • from 800 to 900 rubles - for thirty tablets;
  • from 1200 to 1550 rubles - for packing, containing fifty tablets.

Cheap analogs

  • "Amizon";
  • "Nikavir";
  • "Viracept";

Since the same active ingredient( inosine pranobex) is contained in the chemical formula of the imunobeks preparation, as in the groin-bearing substance, taken in the same dosage( 500 mg in one tablet), both these drugs can be considered direct analogues.

Thus, this statement of the question should be considered incorrect.
