A dangerous disease can be called erosive-ulcerative gastroduodenitis. From other species it differs in that on the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract erosive lesions are visible, covering with mucocutaneous fibrous coating. The disease begins with the appearance of acute pain in the epigastric zone and dyspeptic disorders: in the patient after each meal there is severe nausea and vomiting with impurities of bile and blood. Over time, black becomes feces. He is a harbinger of gastric bleeding. In addition to these symptoms, the patient is concerned about severe dizziness, headaches, tachycardia and weakness. The skin on the body becomes pale, a yellow coating appears on the tongue.
Fibrogastroduodenoscopy helps to make an accurate diagnosis, it clearly demonstrates what changes have appeared on the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum. Visible loose structure of the mucosa, hyperthermia, severe swelling. Chronic ulcerative gastroduodenitis degenerates into bleeding, and then, the source of bleeding turns into a small sore, the size of which varies from 0.3 to 0.5 mm.
During the endoscopic examination, a biopsy is performed, the extracted sections should make it clear whether the pathogenesis is caused by the Helicobacter pylori bacterium.
Gastroduodenitis and ulcer
As a rule, ulcerative gastroduodenitis is a consequence of the development of chronic gastritis. Constantly high level of hydrochloric acid concentration, the products of the life of the Helicobacter pylori bacteria, other external and internal stimuli lead to the fact that the usual inflammation of the mucous membrane is thrown on the pyloric section, and further on the walls of the duodenum.
As a result, the protective properties of the mucous are weakened, it is exposed from mucus and covered with small erosions. If the right treatment is not taken at this stage, the erosions become deeper, ulcerative gastroduodenitis is formed, and the ulcer is the next stage of the disease. Therefore, it is so important in time to seek help from specialists and begin complex therapy. With properly selected treatment, ulcers are tightened and turn into scars. Medication stops inflammation, triggers regeneration and restores the functions of the gastrointestinal tract.
Effective treatment of gastroduodenitis is impossible without diet therapy. During the exacerbation of the patient should adhere to diet number 1, and then, after disappearing the most vivid symptoms go to table number 5.With the main therapy, physiotherapy and phytotherapy are conducted in parallel. All this together gives good results.
