Fresh pastry, including fresh bread, is not recommended for pancreatitis. People with this disease should eat the bread of yesterday's baking, and the dough, rich in easily digestible carbohydrates, is not a product for patients with pancreatitis.
Is all baking contraindicated in inflammation of the pancreas? Yeast dough, especially cakes, cakes, cakes, muffins, gingerbread, shortbread cookies - these foods for patients with pancreatitis should be excluded from food because of the large amount of carbohydrates. Getting into the body, baking starts quickly digesting, throwing glucose into the blood, and requiring a sufficient amount of insulin. And with pancreatitis, this hormone is produced in insufficient quantities. Therefore, baking, especially fresh and savory, can lead to an exacerbation of the disease.
From baking in pancreatitis it is allowed to eat biscuits, oatmeal and curd cookies of home cooking( with a minimum amount of fat and sugar), dried biscuit. When pancreatitis worsens, when a very strict dietary regime is required, even these products are excluded from nutrition.
Home baking recipes for pancreatitis
For a dietary pie with fruits and berries you will need:
- sugar-3 or 4 tbsp.spoons;
- cinnamon( to taste);
- a glass of flour;
- a glass of oatmeal;
- a teaspoon of baking powder;
- salt( pinch);
- soda - a quarter teaspoonful;
- minimum fat yogurt - 200 g( can be taken as natural and, for example, blueberry);
- fruits and berries( both fresh and frozen, only after defrosting them).
This recipe for homemade baking with pancreatitis offers a banana, peaches and half a cup of berries. The bottom of the mold for baking is filled with fruit, top with pouring berries. Add on top a spoonful of sugar and cinnamon to taste. To test in a separate bowl, combine oat flakes with flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, baking powder, soda and salt. Add the yogurt and stir everything. The resulting mass is put on the fruit. If necessary, then sprinkle sugar on top, but not necessarily. Preheat the oven. Bake the cake 40-50 minutes until done.
Recipe for "Bread" pudding
Half a loaf of stale rye or wheat bread cut into slices. Place 3-4 apples sliced in thin slices, sprinkle with a handful of raisins. Beat 3 eggs with a half glass of sugar, gradually adding 700 ml of milk. Fill the resulting liquid with apples and mix. Let it stand for 2 hours and soaked. Spread the top with a spoon. Bake in the oven until cooked.
