Rhodiola rosea plant is a perennial herbaceous plant, which belongs to the family of crustaceans. The plant has strong and thick roots, which securely hold it in the soil. In the section, the rhizome has a noble bronze shade. In addition to the beautiful color, it has many useful properties, due to which it is widely used in medicine.

The stalk of the plant is quite powerful and fleshy. Its height does not exceed 50 cm. They have a light green hue, slightly covered with gray spraying. From the base leaves many shoots, creating the appearance of a bush. On the entire length of the stem are thick leaves. They have an ovoid shape and a beautiful green color. The edges of the leaves are decorated with small denticles. At the top of the plant, thyroid inflorescences are collected. Active flowering begins in June and lasts until the end of August. Flowers are yellow, sometimes even with a greenish tinge. In the flowering period, the medicinal bush produces a pleasant fragrance, its aroma is similar to the smell of rose oil. Preparation and storage of a golden root

Use the root of the plant for the workpiece. With the help of garden tools( forks, shovels), dig up the rhizome.
