Currently, many people suffer from any disease of the digestive system. One of them is gastritis. It is an inflammation of the gastric mucosa. Doctors distinguish two forms of this disease: acute and chronic.
- Acute form. Most often it occurs, for example, in case of poisoning of the body, alcohol consumption, overdose of medicines or excessive consumption of spicy food. That is, the emergence of this form affects everything that affects the body negatively.
- Chronic stage. Development occurs slowly, at the first stages the person does not even notice pronounced symptoms. In the mucous membrane of the stomach inflammation occurs. As a consequence - the stomach is broken, acid is released and so on.
The onset of the disease: gastritis 1 degree
Doctors distinguish three degrees of stomach disease: 1, 2 and 3. Grade 1 gastritis is called superficial. Its main symptoms are as follows:
- appetite decreases, general weakness, fatigue, sometimes dizziness;
- nausea, diarrhea;
- cramping pain in the abdominal cavity;
- the pressure goes down, the pulse becomes more frequent.
Despite this, this degree of gastritis is the most innocuous, since there are no focal lesions, the gastric mucosa has a superficial inflammation and intestinal tissues of the duodenum and stomach are still intact. Many patients often go to a clinic with a gastritis of 1 degree, but the disease at this stage is not dangerous. Despite this, the disease should be treated promptly, since it can go to the next stage, called chronic.
In the recent past, superficial gastritis has not been positioned as an independent disease.1 degree was controlled and observed by doctors, but no special treatment measures were performed. Over time, practice has been confirmed that leaving 1 degree of gastritis without attention in any case impossible, because because of the lost time there is a rapid transition from superficial inflammation to the chronic stage of the disease.
How to treat gastritis 2 and 3 degrees?
First you need to get rid of all the addictions. Follow your diet is also necessary: include in the diet only healthy food, give up fast food, do not overeat. The doctor must appoint you antibiotics for effective treatment of the disease.
Gastritis of the 2nd degree is called erosive. At this stage, the mucous membrane of the stomach begins to disintegrate. The main symptoms:
- vomiting is already manifested with blood;
- heartburn;
- acute pain in the stomach, especially after eating;
- diarrhea with impurities of blood.
It should be noted that all these symptoms begin to manifest sharply, a person's condition worsens significantly, the disease begins to progress.
Gastritis of 2nd degree - treatment should be carried out immediately. This process has the name endoscopy: the patient enters the stomach endoscope( a special tube that is equipped with a camera).The doctor reveals erosive ulcers on the walls of the stomach. In addition to this procedure, it is necessary to take a blood test, feces and sometimes an X-ray is prescribed. Gastritis of the 3rd degree is atrophic. How is it manifested?
- Heartburn and belching are becoming more frequent.
- Intestine begins to malfunction: there is a loose stool, rumbling in the abdomen.
- A person feels weak, dizzy, losing appetite and eventually losing weight.
