Pinworms and other parasites settle in the human body. Most often they choose the intestines for their vital activity. Any parasite secretes toxic substances for the body. To cleanse the intestines, it is recommended to use an enema.
This disease, like enterobiasis, can cause a lot of inconvenience, which is why doctors, in addition to the main treatment, are prescribed an enema. In addition, the introduction of the solution into the intestine not only reduces the activity of toxins, but also creates a destructive environment for helminths.
Enema with soda affects the pinworm is fatal. Alkaline environment does not allow to exist and develop normally. In addition to this solution, the patient can take enemas against pinworms from the following products:
- Garlic;
- Bow and garlic;
- Tansy.
Cleansing to the child from pinworms
This helminthiasis most often falls on small children. The child's body is sensitive to strong antihelminthic drugs. First of all, it is recommended to seek advice from a pediatrician who, after diagnosis, prescribes medicines.
As an additional treatment for pinworm, the child is assigned an enema. Thanks to the soda solution, the risk of poisoning with toxic substances released by parasites is reduced.
An excellent agent for enema in enterobiasis is garlic, but, unfortunately, this product is better not to use when treating children. An excellent remedy will be citric wormwood. The plant is crushed and poured with boiled water. The solution should be infused for 6 hours. For children, a single dose is half a glass.
Many parents do not know how to make an enema from pinworm to your child. It is best to perform the procedure before bedtime. The patient should lie on his left side, while the knees get accustomed to the stomach. The pelvis should be pushed back slightly.
Parents with one hand should spread the buttocks of the baby, and the second insert the tip into the anus. It should be remembered that the tip is inserted by scrolling, not pressing.
An enema from pinworms with soda is done in the same way as others. It is not necessary to perform the procedure at home in the following category of people:
- Newborn children;
- Children suffering from gastrointestinal diseases;
- Pregnant women.
Solutions for enemas against pinworms
To fight with pinworms, you can use one of the existing solutions for enemas:
- To prepare the solution, you need finely chopped garlic, which is placed in a glass container. Garlic is poured with boiled water. Before the beginning of the procedure, the solution must be infused for at least 12 hours;
- To prepare a solution of tansy, you need 20 milligrams of tansy flowers. The flowers are placed in a container and poured into 200 milliliters of boiled water. The solution is infused for 3 hours;
- To prepare a solution with soda, you need 0.5 teaspoon per 1 cup of water. Children older than 2 years, you can enter 2 cups of solution. It is recommended to perform a purification procedure for 7 days.
For an adult, you can use milk in the amount of 200 milliliters and 1 head of garlic. The container with milk and garlic is put on the fire and cooked for half an hour. After the milk boils, you need to strain it. Before use, the milk will cool.
Regardless of which solution will be used to control enterobiosis, the course of treatment should be at least one week. If after 7 days the symptoms of helminthiasis pass, and the pinworm is not visible in the stool, then the treatment can be stopped.
