Gastritis, which proceeds in chronic form, is a rather unpleasant disease, which is always accompanied by a severe inflammation occurring in the mucosa of the main digestive organ.
This disease is characterized by a very long course, accompanied by both periods of remission and exacerbations, which can often occur with the slightest disruption in nutrition.
It can be said that this is the most common disease that occurs in the organs of the digestive tract. Probably, they suffer the most part of the population. Most often, this disease of the digestive organs occurs in a form in which the secretory function of the stomach is greatly increased.
Gastritis with increased secretory function
This type of disease is mainly found in young men( women suffer much less often) who abuse alcohol, smoking and taking aggressive medicines for the gastric mucosa. The main symptoms characteristic of chronic gastritis with increased secretion include the following:
- Cramping aching pain, having a dull character and arising after a person ate something sharp or very spicy. Often there are so-called nocturnal pains;
- After any meal, a feeling of heaviness in the epigastric region begins. Relief can come only after drinking a solution of soda, which has an alkaline basis, or eaten normal food;
- Heartburn, accompanied by acidic eructation, vomiting, stool disorders;
- Sleep disorders, hypertension, fatigue, sweating and constant irritation.
All these symptoms are observed with gastritis with increased secretion only separately. Together they can become very rare. The disease usually proceeds very slowly, exacerbations practically do not cause.
The condition of a patient who is diagnosed as gastritis with an increased secretory function is most often satisfactory, and if timely treatment is carried out, the remission period very quickly begins. Also this form of the disease is distinguished by the fact that its symptoms are not of a very pronounced nature and manifest only when there were provoking factors, which include the following:
- Dysfunction in the diet( suffering from gastritis with increased secretion of a person or allowed a significant break between receptionsfood, or ate);
- Abuse of any alcoholic beverages;
- Food poisoning;
- too spicy or salty food was eaten;
- Nervous tension, usually caused by severe stress.
In all these cases, the manifestations of gastritis with increased secretion are greatly exacerbated, disturbing by their unpleasant symptoms the patient's usual life.
Clinical picture of gastritis with increased secretion of
In this form of the disease, inflammatory changes occurring in the gastric mucosa are usually superficial. Sometimes they are combined with inflammation, occurring in the duodenal mucosa. Often, chronic gastritis with high acidity may precede the development of ulcers.
The pain with this disease is quite frequent, but it is not an obligatory symptom. Their character is usually "ulcerative", and they appear or on an empty stomach, so-called hungry pains, or after a while after eating. Also happen at night. From the pain syndrome that occurs with peptic ulcer, it is sometimes very difficult to distinguish them.
Gastritis with increased secretion can occur in 2 forms:
- Pain or antral;
- Dyspeptic.
In any case, if any signs of this disease appear, you should immediately contact your doctor. Any self-treatment is fraught with very serious troubles and serious complications for the body.
